Qualy in Hockenheim, Germany: Hamilton lost it, Rosberg got it!

Lewis Hamilton brought out the red flags during qualifying for the German Grand Prix after crashing in Q1 at Hockenheim.

On a quick lap that was set to put him fastest in the session, Hamilton spun entering the Turn 13 hairpin due to what appeared to be a front-right brake issue.

So we have some drama for tomorrow – Hamilton will have to do it the hard way if he wants to win tomorrow. It looks incredibly unlikely starting from down in 16th so he will need to turn in a great performance to limit the damage in the drivers’ championship. Out in front, it looks like only Williams can genuinely challenge Rosberg out in front.
