Ferrari sets launch date for 2015 car

Following news that McLaren will launch online on January 29, Ferrari confirmed it will follow suit a day later with its new car. At present there are no confirmed details regarding the name of the car, with the 2014 car having been called the F14 T following a fan vote.

Ferrari has announced the launch date for its 2015 F1 car, with an online unveiling for its latest offering on January 30.

The team explained that it will release updates between now and the launch date, with the exact timing of the launch yet to be confirmed.

Ferrari will run the new car at the first pre-season test in Jerez from February 1-4, with Kimi Raikkonen being joined by Sebastian Vettel – who has replaced Fernando Alonso – for the 2015 season.
