Sauber will debut a heavily revised lightweight chassis at the Spanish Grand Prix next week and the team is pinning its points scoring hopes on the upgrade.
The Hinwil outfit has struggled to compete in the midfield so far this season and it believes an overweight chassis is largely to blame.
Not only will it debut the new chassis, which is roughly 20kg lighter, but it will also bring a revised front-wing, new engine cover, new sidepod fins and deflectors.
Ferrari will also release a new software upgrade for its engine customers which should also bring some benefit.
It would be interesting to know how the new chassis affects the weight distribution.
Sounds good, but every other team will be bringing upgrades too.
