Ferrari Technical Director James Allison says Kimi Raikkonen is simply driving slower than Fernando Alonso after the Finn’s disappointing start to the season.
The two World Champions going head to head at the Scuderia was predicted to be F1’s box office show in 2014, but instead it has been a one-sided affair.
Alonso has finished ahead of Raikkonen in all six grands prix thus far, amassing 61 points to the Finn’s 17 and currently sits third in the Drivers’ Championship.
“I’m not sure it’s entirely fair to say he is struggling more than Fernando,” said Allison ahead of the Canadian GP.
