“I am sure there will – if there aren’t already – be mind games going on. There were a few things he played on me,” Button told BT Sport. “It would work on some drivers, whereas others it just makes them stronger because they laugh it off.”
“Nico is intelligent to know if Lewis is playing mind games or not, which in some ways could help Nico or harm him. He might just end up getting fed up with it. The thing is with that team is because they are going to walk away with it – I know we are only five races in, but they have such a big lead – they’re not going to favour just one driver.”
“They will let their drivers race because they need to keep the show going, and we need them to keep the show going and let both drivers race.”
Guess Hammy is afraid he can’t win on the track alone. I’m sure Mr. Arrogance has thousands of fans, but I’m sorry fans, I sure ain’t one of you!
Afriad of what? He is kicking Nicoles ass al around…:-)
Yes…. JB is telling it as it is.
Sure, there was worry at the beginning of the season; but that cleared.
The Mercs now ‘have to race’….. and this is glorious.
Rare it is, that we have such an opportunity; to view two racers, in similar cars, often with different strategies, battling it out.
So, is it a battle?
Most would prefer Alonso to be in Nico’s seat, however, in reality, there is very little between the two drivers – in timed laps.
The difference is the undefinable element that makes a WDC.
Nico is clearly a first class driver, but ‘mind games’ are now part of his life….
….. even if those games are created by the press, or even created by himself.
Either way…. he must deal with ‘losing to his team mate’.
Maybe Monaco will change the momentum ❓
Hmmmm!
Can’t wait 🙂
