Fernando Alonso admits Ferrari still have a lot of work to do before Australia after a solid day of testing in Bahrain.
The double World Champion brought his F14T home in second place at the Sakhir circuit, clocking a 1:37.879 to finish 0.999s adrift of Nico Hulkenberg.
During the course of the day, Alonso covered 64 laps during which he checked on all aspects of the new power unit systems as well as aerodynamic testing.
His day, though, wasn’t without problems as he brought out the first red flag of the morning when an oil leak forced him to stop out on track.
